Objective: Learn about Fauvism and then create a painting of a pair of koi fish that utilizes the subjective and exaggerated colors with simple shapes. Procedure: Watch the “Fauvism” video and discuss the contents. Become familiar with the style and artist. Next, watch the instructional video once and then watch it again to draw and paint. Project: Coloring Book Project
Materials: Puffin and Design Video,, 8.5 X 11 paper, pencil, Bic ultra fine pen, sharpie fine point, and printout of reference pictures. Objective: Learn to draw a puffin and learn more methods of creating designs that follow cross contour lines. Procedure: Watch the “Puffin and Design” video once then watch it again to draw the puffin. Pause the video and discuss the steps for drawing the puffin. Continue to watch the video to draw the cross contour lines then draw contour lines over the puffin. Watch the rest of the video for adding designs that follow the cross contour lines. Add designs for the background, too. |
